Our weekend!
My kids spent the weekend with us. Mindy and I went shopping on Saturday and than Saturday night we ordered the PPV fight between Cotto and Margarito on HBO, so the guys really enjoyed that. We swam alot, barbequed and just had a really good time. They left just a little bit ago and I always hate that, but I'll see them again soon.

My Big Sis
Today I had lunch with my big sister Sylvia and her two girls, Tina and Valerie. We don't get to see each as often as we would like as I live in Surprise and she lives in Mesa. We ate at Olive Garden and it was YUMMY! Afterwards we went to Ross and did some shopping. It was so much fun trying on clothes and stuff, reminded me of when we were younger. I miss spending time with her and wish we could see each other more often.

Lunch With the Girls
My niece Tina is spending a couple of days with her sister (my niece) Valerie who also lives in Surprise. They picked up Daisy around 11:00am today and they met me for lunch at Applebee's. After lunch I went back to work (just wrong isn't it, LOL) and they took Daisy to the movies to see "Wall E". After the movie they did some shopping and than brought Daisy home and they all went swimming. It was a great day for Daisy, she had such a wonderful time and didn't want the day to end.

Dog Dayz of Summer
So much for having more rain today.....not a single drop. The news says it's suppose to rain everyday until Sunday but we'll see. It was very muggy today from all the rain early this morning but the pool felt sooooo good. It was 83 degrees, it was so refreshing. Bobby fried chicken wings out on the patio and Daisy ate Cup-O-Noodles out by the pool, LOL! AND the dogs were inside enjoying the A/C!! Koda is sure enjoying not having all of that hair and being able to be inside laying on the nice cool tile, but I want to know where he got that pillow from and would Teddy please put that bone down. "No Teddy, even if you fetch 3 more times we won't give you another treat!". Dogs are so much fun :)
Thunder....Lighting....Rain.....OH MY!!!!!
This morning at 3:15am we were awakened by really, really loud thunder, lightning and pouring rain. It woke everyone up in the house except Brandon, LOL! The dogs were barking, Daisy was scared, Nana was calming her down and Bobby was outside fertilizing the grass. I don't know about that man, LOL! A few minutes later I went back to bed with Daisy right by my side and Teddy next to her. I wasn't able to fall asleep right away because of the loud thunder and the bed was actually shaking. I woke up this morning at 7:30 and Bobby said that Surprise got about 3/4" in about 30 minutes and more to come today, YEA!! It is so nice outside right now and Bobby is making Daisy banana pancakes outside and going to have breakfast out on the patio. I hope everyone has a beautiful and relaxing Sunday. The Many Faces of Daisy
I was playing around with my new camera today and took these pictures of Daisy throughout the day. The ones with her wrapped up in the towel after swimming were taken tonight (about 9:00). I hadn't taken any pictures at night and wanted to see how they would come out. I think they came out pretty good. I love my new Nikon Coolpix S210
The Before & After of Koda
I didn't think Bobby was serious when he told me lastnight that he was taking Koda to get shaved on Saturday morning. Well, I woke up this morning and him and Koda were both gone!!! Teddy was going crazy looking for Koda everywhere. Bobby came home a few minutes later and said he had dropped Koda off at the groomers. I was really scared at this point. I do know that he needed to go to the groomers to get his toe nails trimmed, and get defurred (he has soooooo much hair) but NOT to get shaved, I heard you just don't do that to Sheltie's as their coat is suppose to keep them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Well, about 2 hours later Bobby went to go pick him up from the groomers and OMG, he looked so good. I didn't realize he was so thick, I thought he would be skinnier. They said he was a really good boy and he will feel so much better now that all that hair is gone. His new coat will come in really nice for the winter as well. So I guess Bobby did a good thing....now Koda is allowed in the house as he won't be leaving furballs everywhere. Here is the before and after picture of our first baby!

She's a "BIG GIRL NOW"!
Tonight our niece Celeste spent the night with Daisy, she is 4 years old. This is the fist time she has ever spent the night anywhere other than her grandparents house so this was a big deal. The girls had quite the night. We came home around 5:30 and Bobby had already made dinner, spaghetti, Daisy's favorite. After dinner we let our food settle and than went swimming for about an hour and than made a quick trip to the DQ for some good ol' ice cream. After they were done with their ice we watched the new Disney movie "College Road Trip" with Raven Simone. Daisy has been waiting to watch this movie for so long and was so excited to see it. Well, it's after 10:00pm and I just tucked both the girls in for the night. I'm hoping Celeste will sleep all night or Monique (her mother) will be getting a call to come and pick her up :) I think she'll be fine since she is sleeping with Daisy, the TV is on the Disney channel and the night light is on along with the hall light. Come to think of it, I'm tired too.......goodnight

I was going through the pictures on my computer and I came across this picture of my grandson Mateo. He had just gotten out of the hospital with pneumonia and they stopped at the store to get his medication. I know he needed his medication but I know FOR SURE he didn't need these, LOL! I can't wait to show this picture to him when he's old enough!

Happy Weekend Everyone!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! We are having a a good weekend. Friday night Bobby took me out to Black Angus for dinner. We chowed down on Steak, Baby Back Ribs, Shrimp, and Lobster....OMG.....so yummy! Afterwards we went shopping for a dinette set for the dining room and a smaller one for the kitchen. We found a couple but nothing we were head over heals over so we're till looking. This morning we went to IRCA Furniture which is a resale warehouse for the resort hotels in Las Vegas and places like that. We bought a mirror to put into our newly tiled bathroom that came out of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. How cool is that?
I did buy a new camera the other day and have been playing with it a bit. It's a Nikon Coolpix S210 and it's plum color. I love it because I can put it in my purse and carry it everywhere with me, cuz you never know when there may be an opportunity for a picture. I always forget I have a camera on my phone, but those camera phones don't take very good pictures anyway. Here are a few pictures that I've taken, still trying to learn everything about it. 4th of July
It's been awhile since I posted last, but here I am. I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July, I know we did. Friday night Bobby, Daisy, Brandon and I went to Lake Pleasant to barbeque and watch the fireworks. They shot them off of the dam and they looked so pretty reflecting off of the water. Everyone was oohing and aahing, especially the people watching them from their boats. Friday early afternoon we went to Scottsdale to spend the night at The Chaparral Suites Resort, we do this every year with their Caribbean Package. We had such a good time and we even took Teddy with us this year. We got home about 3:00pm on Sat., put everything away, started the laundry and than crashed. We're so glad we have one more day off before we have to go back to work. Aren't 3 day weekends to die for?
